My aunt took me to this place a couple years ago, and I was just blown away. It is most definitely off the well traveled roads. A simple and unassuming place but man does it pack some delicious seafood!! I no longer live in Louisiana, but when I flew in last weekend, as soon as I got off the plane, I had it straight here

Went for lunch. I wasn't very hungry, so I ordered a cup of gumbo and a slide salad, with chicken on the side. I could see what other people ordered and everything looked delicious. I definitely want to go back and try other fishes. I gave four stars for service,, because I had to ask the waitress 2 times for a refill on my tea. They have a pretty extensive menu to choose from. It looks like a pretty popular place, since while we were there the tables were all filling up. I went to the location in bucktown, but they also have other locations to dine . There is also a children's menu you can order from.

My hood!! I love this place literally walking distance from my pad. Always great service and that red sauce is fire!! The Fried calamari is my go-to here, as well as the fried shrimp, the turtle soup, the onion rings, the poboys and the meatballs!! Great crispy garlic French bread for soaking up the goodness!! Awesome crew here too!!

Mr Ed’s on Live Oak in Metairie never disappoints. Comfort food that is always consistent. I thoroughly enjoy the chicken Parmesan. Entrees come with a side salad. They make their own salad dressings fresh, in house. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable and the wait staff are attentive and friendly.

Mr Ed’s is good old fashioned Buck town NOLA style eats! You will never be dissatisfied by the good food. Italian, seafood and great drinks. Our waitress was delightful! We will be back!

Mr. Ed's is legendary and well known for its service and southern Louisiana menu options. Mary Contrary servicing the restaurant for 10 years was 5 stars. If I could rate more I would. The food is tasty and well seasoned in medium way to service all guest spiciness level's. Would recommend. It's the casual style of Commanders when it comes to true dining. Located on ground level. Wait to be seated.

Awesome neighborhood restaurant! Stopped for lunch and got spaghetti, meatballs and Italian sausage. Delicious sauce and the giant meatballs were incredible! Lots of seating, great service, reasonable prices and nice decor. We loved it and highly recommend!

Great Metairie neighborhood restaurant. Excellent food at reasonable pricing. Friendly staff. Creamed spinach is the best ever. Pepper jelly on fried liver was good. I did not like smothered cabbage since it had a weird burnt taste. My wife loved the eggplant dish.
